Pritoka
A neighbourhood on the Una at the edge of town, a few minutes’ drive from the centre. You sleep by the river and still reach town quickly.
Lohovo
A quiet riverside village about 10 km south of Bihac, around 15 minutes by car. Close to the Una National Park side of the valley and ideal for a slower holiday.
Grmusa
About 20 km north-east of Bihac and one of the main starting points for rafting on the Una. Our rafting partner, Una Olympic Rafting, is based here. See our holiday homes on the Una River page for the riverside houses.
Crossing the border from Croatia
Most international guests arrive via Croatia. The nearest crossing for Plitvice is Izacic, just outside Bihac. Bosnia and Herzegovina is not in the EU, so expect a passport or ID check in both directions; queues can be longer on summer weekends. Check entry requirements for your nationality and your car insurance cover before you travel.
Prices
All prices are per night for the whole property, not per person: from €25 for smaller apartments up to €100 for larger houses in peak season. July and August are the busiest months; May, June and September are usually better value. For budget tips see cheap apartments in Bihac.
